Italic Shelf by Ronen Kadushen

Plans

Consisting of only 2 parts, a plywood shelf and spacer, the Italic shelf can be assembled in many ways and configurations to suit your needs. The shelf is very stable and strong as each part is locked by its own position and weight in a structure I developed and named “Controlled Collapse”. Basically, when the shelf is built high, it doesn’t loose its strength or stability.

Rotational Stools

Plans Seating

[metaslider id=550]

The Rotational Stools are a complementary pair that share common proportions (15″ tall x 9.5″ square) and variations on a rotational structure. They function equally well as low stools or as side tables – individually, in pairs, or in aggregate. A pair of Rotational Stools requires one fourth of a 4’x8′ sheet of plywood. You can make 8 stools from a single sheet of plywood, or nest parts into unused areas of plywood, as you’re cutting other projects.

90 Minute Lounge Chair by AtFab

Plans Seating

[metaslider id=515]

Deceptively comfortable, the 90-Minute Lounge Chair balances your body in a relaxed position that’s perfect for reading, watching, or chatting with a friend. Its origins in humble sheet material are lost in a volumetric, sculptural stance. The Chair’s 9 simple pieces interlock with a set of keys that can either be CNC milled or 3D printed. A set of keys, which simplify assembly and lock the furniture parts into place, are included in the download files for milling alongside your chair parts. Alternately, the keys can be 3D printed in colorful ABS plastic, from .stl files found at AtFAB’s Thingiverse page. As shown, one chair can be milled from two sheets of 4’x8’ material, while three sheets of material will efficiently yield a pair of lounge chairs.

Open Cabinet by AtFab

Plans Storage

[metaslider id=491]

Since your things aren’t generic, your storage shouldn’t be either. The Open Cabinet is subdivided into a scaled array of cells that transform the storage of things into a curated display. As more of our possessions are stored digitally, the few things we still collect need proper accommodation. The unit shown here has compartments that accommodate a roll of trace, your favorite LPs, and everything in between. If your prized possessions require more specific accommodations, we will soon be able to customize a cabinet accordingly.
